Some Research Directions on Social Network Analytics

A Social network is a social structure made up of all individuals (or organizations) call ?nodes?, which are connected by one or more specific types of interdependency, such as friendship, Kinship, common interest, financial exchange, dislike, or relationship of beliefs, knowledge or prestige. Social network analysis views social relationships in terms of network theory. Social networking plays a critical role in determining the way problems are solved, organization is run, and the degree to which individuals or firms succeed in achieving their goals. The social network connects people at very low cost and this network act as a customer relationship management tool for increasing companies? sales in terms of goods and services. Many research groups and startup companies have developed tools for social media network analysis and visualization. Motivated by the current lack of clear guidance for approaching the field of ?Social network Analysis?, the goal of this Talk is to applications of both for a methodical and structured decision making by providing the architectural model and supported by few case studies. This talk shall also be suitable to serve as a basis for thinking and communicating about social networking applications and for giving some decision guidelines. This talk also describes the model of formation and properties of social network. The talk considers the interaction between different sets of people. It also describes the additional information about each individual in a network including the matrix representation of social network
